The Banyan’s efforts are anchored by a multidisciplinary team across our sites and centers, comprising of individuals from a variety of backgrounds including social work, psychiatry, psychology, health care workers, peer workers, project management, field workers, personal assistants, internal services, finance, human resource, communications and fundraising. Internships and Volunteering
We welcome interns and volunteers to work with us in various background
capacities across our sites and centres in Chennai, Kerala, Maharashtra, Andhra
Pradesh, and Karnataka.
Opportunities to contribute in various domains are available throughout the year, and applications from people with diverse backgrounds, especially those with lived experience of mental health issues and other forms of social disadvantages and oppression, are encouraged to apply. The Banyan’s internship and fieldwork program is available from April to June, July to September and December to February.
