The Banyan Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. You will provide authentic, correct, and true information while completing the process for online donation. The Banyan reserves the right to confirm and validate the information and other details provided by you at any point of time. If upon confirmation your details are found not to be true (wholly or partly), The Banyan has the right in its sole discretion to reject the donation.

2. If donor feels that, he/she made an error in donation amount/purpose or any other parameter, kindly let The Banyan know about such error within 5 working days by email to banyan.mis@thebanyan.org, we shall rectify any such parameter requested by you whenever possible.

3. In case a donation is registered under monthly/regular giving donation program, the donor may intimate us at banyan.mis@thebanyan.org to stop the donation from the next debit cycle, with a notice period of 10 working days preceding the periodic debit date and the requests received later than 10 working days shall be effective in the succeeding month/ debit cycle. The Banyan shall intimate the donor about the deactivation and an email confirmation will be sent within 3 working days to the donor's registered email ID once deactivated.

4. We will be happy to refund the donation provided the donor informs The Banyan via email (banyan.mis@thebanyan.org) or contact us on our number 044-48629793 or 96771 21099 between 10.00 AM to 5.30 PM, Monday to Friday and claims her/his refund within 5 working days from the date of donation.

5. The Banyan offers a refund to the donors only in case there has been an error/technical reason for the transfer due to which donors have mistakenly made double payments or donated extra amount.

6. A refund is issued only via bank transfers – NEFT/RTGS/A/c Payee Cheque in the name of donor and is dispatched within 30 working days of such requests validated as per above policy.

7. No refund is processed for any donation or to any donor in case of:
     a. Any bank charges incurred by donor in case of bounce payments through cheque/mandate/ENACH/NACH/NEFT / RTGS Standing Instructions
     b. Once a tax benefit certificate/ 80G receipt / Form 10 BE has been issued in the donor's name
    c. No refund/cancellation request for the donated amount by any donor will be entertained for online donations through the online payment gateway after 5 working days unless there is a fraud notification from our Payment Gateway Service Providers.
